Sometimes we just can’t or won’t take it.
But when we can miracles happen, suffering can end.
I listened to my minds story long enough to descend into negative feelings about me and my life. I then heard myself moaning to my husband about it which made me squirm, as I attempted to draw him into my tale of woe.

The I, that I am beyond my...

Change your emotional state all by yourself.
Oh yes you can!
Isn’t it amazing how we can KNOW something for a very long time and then one day KABOOM it finally slots into place.

Over the last few years things have begun to change and now there are a plethora of ways to look at and tackle being ill. Lots of research is being carried out and from what I can see there is no one answer that fits all.
From early on in my diagnosis a friend who had ME told me that if...

The Painting Story |

Now part of me is hugely resisting showing these painting efforts. My inner critic (IC) is alive and kicking and has lots of unpleasant things to say but worse are the voice of my fears. Somewhere along this journey through life I picked up collection of them and in situaions like this they come out screamming and hollering.
“Don’t be daft, you can’t do that, people will laugh at you, you’ll be ridiculed, made to look like a fool,...

It takes courage to change, we have to give up that which we know and move to a new land , a place we have yet to fully understand and function in, new neural pathways have to be made. We can feel like we are entering a dark tunnel, and I say just keep going till the light begins to shine.
I am reading a book called Emotional Freedom, by Judith Orlaff. She reminded me of the importance of meditation. Then I listened to talks by Jon Kabat Zinn, and Pema...
