Surely one of the simplest ideas alive. Mix up flour and water, mother nature supplies some natural yeast and off you go.
I’m sure as time goes on I will develop some rhythm for living with Zorba MkII (MkIĀ met his demise over Christmas) but for now it feels like trying to introduce a new pet; we have to figure out where he fits into the rhythm of our family life.
In a land based home I think it would be easier to find a nice warm niche for him, a permanent home. On a boat there is no such place so I have to remember to move him into the sun when I want to feed him and getting him going a bit.
None-the-less I am in love with Zorba, I could jump with glee at the ease with which I can make bread for my family, and they love it too.
